Forgotten Realms is a campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game. It is also a shared universe of many fantasy books and video games that attracted fandoms of their own. The most famous works set in the Realms are Bioware's Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights game series, and the Drizzt Do'Urden books by R. A. Salvatore.
