Five Nights at Roner's is a series of fan games heavily inspired by Five Nights At Freddy's. They are made with the Clickteam Fusion engine.
The current games are Five Nights at Roner's: Remastered, a remaster of the first game, Five Nights at Roner's 2, sequel to Five Nights at Roner's. Five Nights at Roner's 3 is in the works.
Summary
Like in FNAF, the player must keep watch over a surveillance camera system, watch for enemies - ghosts instead of animatronics - and stay alive until 6 AM. Since the games are parodies, the plot is not as dark and serious as Five Nights At Freddy's.
The ghosts are photos of real people. There are no true horror elements.
The player can die but the death scenes are simple jump scares.
Five Nights at Roner's: Remastered Official Game Description [1]
You are 19 year old Tyrone Watermelon -- ambitious paranormal investigator and convenience store clerk, eager for a big break. When you receive a call from a man calling himself Roane Vaydich asking you to investigate his haunted house, you are ecstatic. Finally, a chance to get your name out there!
At the end of your perilous journey lies a fat paycheck -- $25.99, to be exact -- enough to kickstart your career, or maybe even pay off that old guy that sold you those funny-looking brownies the other day...
But these ghosts are different... spookier... scarier... retardeder...
Five Nights at Roner's: Remastered is a ground-up recreation of the original game, which was made in three days. This remake brings it up to the standard set by Five Nights at Roner's 2, which was made in six months. Complete with a full visual overhaul, several gameplay improvements/additions, and a (finally) coherent story, Five Nights at Roner's has never been better...
So, without further ado, can you survive...

Characters
While only the characters' first names are heard in-game, the end credits show their full names.
Otherwise, the names can be found in the game's code.
In Five Nights at Roner's: Remastered
Tyrone Watermelon, the main character.
Roane Vaydich, a mysterious man who offered a night guard job to Tyrone and Nick. He's very knowledgeable about
the ghosts that haunt the house, and yet he seems to be hiding something.
The Ghosts
David Tacomuncher, a Mexican docile ghost, as long as he has tacos to eat.
The player must watch him and give him tacos as much as he can.
Gayson Gaydick, a bodybuilder. As long as the player hears/sees him training, they are safe.
James Gingershitter, an aggressive red-haired ghost. To avoid death, the player must look at him until he leaves the room.
Roner Gaydick, a ghost with a bucket on his head. In Five Nights at Roner's: Remastered, hiding will save Tyrone's life,
but in the second game, Roner has become smarter, and that trick won't work anymore. There is no mention of his relationship with
Gayson. Since their share the same lsast name, they could be brothers.
In the original Five Nights at Roner's 1 from 2023, James mentions in the Night 5 phone call that Roner's bucket intimidates him.
Dancer, a creature that looks like a dog. It can disable cameras if the player looks at it for too long.
In Five Nights at Roner's 2
Nick, the new protagonist. Although his name is never mentioned, it was discovered when a Steam user datamined the game and looked through its files.[3]
Gayrat, a ghost that will break through Nick's safety door if he keeps it closed for too long.
Duane, a man working at a bar. He's identical to Roner, which Nick can point out through dialogue. It is unknown at this time whether Duane has any relationship with Roner.
Tyrone Watermelon; although he appears in the first game, his role in FNaR 2 is different, as he becomes one of the enemies after his murder during Night 6.
Roane, David, Gayson, James, Dancer, and Roner return from the previous game.
Story
(Notice: It is assumed for this section that the original Five Nights at Roner's 1 has been retconned; especially considering that the game has been unlisted on Gamejolt.)
In Five Nights at Roner's: Remastered
Tyrone Watermelon goes to work for Roane as a paranormal investigator. Roane claims that his employer has tasked him with finding houses marked down for "Paranormal Activity". It is assumed that his boss is likely renovating them for later re-sale.
At the end of Friday, Tyrone is given his check for the week, and the credits are displayed. Upon returning to the title screen, the player finds that the "continue" button has been replaced by a button labelled "Night 6". At the end of this night, the player can hear Roner attack Tyrone. Afterwards, a newspaper article is shown, stating that Tyrone's body was found at the scene a while later. Roane is taken into custody for questioning. This newspaper also reveals that the game takes place in a place called "Jamestown".
After completing night 6, the player unlocks "Custom Night" where they can customize the difficulty of each character, or choose between a list of challenges. The final challenge sets all characters' AI levels to their maximum. After beating this night, the player is shown a cutscene during which it is revealed that Tyrone has become one of the ghosts in the house after being killed. Enduring the same night being repeated over and over, his mental state has degraded substantially. Roane is released from custody, and begins to move on to a new house, at which point David suggests that he and the other ghosts follow him to the new property in Maplestown Heights (The fictional town where FNaR 2 takes place) This leads to the events of Five Nights at Roner's 2
In Five Nights at Roner's 2
This game opens with a cutscene featuring message from Roane to Nick about a potential job offering. At the end of the cutscene, a pair of glowing eyes appear. These eyes were noted in a Steam guide as being internally referenced as "Tyrone", confirming that it is the same character from FNaR 1.
Throughout the game, Nick interacts with Duane at the bar, where he can purchase drinks and upgrades for his office, and also talk with him. Throughout the game, Duane warms up a bit to Nick, and once even refers to him as his "Favorite customer".
At the end of Night 5, Nick goes to the bar a final time. He cannot purchase any drinks or upgrades, and can only talk with Duane before leaving, at which point Duane bids him farewell and expresses his sadness that Nick is leaving. At this point, Nick offers Duane a place of temporary residency at his house, which Duane eagerly accepts. He mentions "dealing with some business" with his boss, and walks off-screen. Several gunshots are heard accompanied by screaming, implying that Duane kills his boss. (This is confirmed in a newspaper article shown during the credits, where it is mentioned that police are still searching for the shooter.)
It is assumed that both Night 6 and Custom Night are non-canon for this game, since they would conflict with the story.
