Final Stop Andromeda was the newsletter of the Boston Japanimation Society. In April 2023, docsane posted a Twitter thread documenting the discovery and scanning of a number of FSA issues. The files were uploaded to Mega, with later uploads to be hosted on the Internet Archive.
Final Stop Andromeda's creation is referenced in a 1984 issue of the Star Blazers Fandom Report, the newsletter of the Star Blazers Fan Club.[1] Respondents were directed to Frank Strom for more information about Final Stop. Contributors included Patricia Malone, Ardith Carlton, Motoi Sato, Jonathan Delano, Akira Nanimasu (a pseudonym), Kevin Leahy and Robert Fenelon.

In issue 44, Marianne Popa of the Boston Japanimation Society posted an open letter criticizing Randall S. Stukey and his campaign against piracy: It has deeply concerned me recently this wave of "anime hysteria" which has been sweeping through anime fandom across the country.
In 1991, an issue of The Rose reported that a new editor, Chris Bonni, was interested in reviving Final Stop.[2]
