Fíli is a fictional character in J.R.R. Tolkien's novel The Hobbit. He also appears in Peter Jackson's film trilogy of the same name.
Canon
Fíli is a dwarf and a member of the Durin family, the ruling family of the Longbeard clan. His mother is Dís and he has a younger brother named Kíli. Their uncle is Thorin Oakenshield.
Both Kíli and Fíli belonged to Thorin's Company and joined their uncle on his quest to reclaim Erebor, the Lonely Mountain, from Smaug the dragon.
