Fiddler on the Roof is a musical. Since its initial production on Broadway in 1964 it has been performed many times, both as live theatre and in a 1971 movie; some casts have notable fandoms of their own. It is based on the stories of Tevye the Dairyman by Sholem Aleichem. It follows the story of a Jewish family in a shtetl in early 20th century Russia.
Spinoffs
