Description
FemmeSlash is a mailing list on which to discuss, share and above all promotefemale/female slash, aka lesbian fanfic, yuri or shoujo-ai.
It's a common complaint that female/female slash is either hard to find, or seems to have been written by ten year old boys with no knowledge of female anatomy, let alone the aesthetics of slash. It's also a common complaint that when f/f is written, it's more likely to fall with a silent thud than get any feedback or support. While anime fen seem more supportive than mainstream slash fen, f/f is still the unwanted middle sister of shipper and slash.
This list is my humble attempt to get slashfen who read, write, or simply support the existence of f/f talking, sharing and supporting each other. you don't have to write - although posting fics is definitely encouraged! - just be interested in promoting the existence of femmeslash in the fanfic world. Or in being friends with those who do.
Any show. Any books. Any fandom. Anime or mainstream.
Be aware that adult topics are, obviously, allowed.[1]

Well, my angels, I finally got around to setting this up...To those couple of you who don't know me *far* too well from trdoubletrouble, I'm Elsa, currently working on a new pseud <g>. My credentials are, um, not many - some absolutely appalling and long-dead Xena stuff, some dabbling in f/f in Blakes' 7 stories, and some rather strange Pokemon yuri. Otherwise, I'm doing this just because I have always, always wanted more f/f around, and because I'm aware that we don't have a lot of support.
(For the record, the yuri stories on my archives page get around hlaf the visits of the male/male stories.)
Now, thanks for your interest, and... This is kind of scary... <g>
