- Patrol RecentChanges to check for spam, vandalism, disputes, and user questions
- Check Category:Spam
- Check Special:Wantedcategories. Admins can add requested categories that fit within the current category structure. Requests for categories that don’t fit in the current structure should be forwarded to the Wiki Committee and/or discussed on talk pages.
- Identify and create needed infoboxes and help other users who want to create and update infoboxes. Admins should protect “finished” infoboxes that are in use.
- Create notices and other types of templates as needed. A notice may require a new category.
- Protect and unprotect pages.
- Edit protected articles by request from regular users (e.g. templates, pages in the main namespace with typos, etc.)
- Keep the Help pages up to date.
Administrators can also, time permitting, help out with Gardener tasks.
