Fan mockumentaries are narrative videos made by fans that portray fandom characters or situations as if they were real. They are usually made of found footage overdubbed by fans, but some fans shoot their own material. They can take the shape of mini-films, documentaries or other narrative-driven media forms. They are different from songvids because the audio is mostly dialogue/spoken word rather than music.
