Extraordinarily Resilient is a Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan story by Cori Lannam.
Summary: After Obi-Wan's knighting, a bout of seperation anxiety leads Qui-Gon to wonder if some bonds are not meant to be broken—whether they like it or not.

Now here's a little twist that I found both amusing and alarming. What if Obi-Wan became a Knight, and Qui-Gon tried to dissolve the training bond...and couldn't? I'm such a sucker for that kind of dilemma, especially in such a well-written story as this. Features appearances by various Nasty!Council members.[1]
I waffled over which of my two favorite Cori stories to put here -- this one or Theory of Flight (and I was positive someone had already recommended one of them, but I don't see either). I decided on this one purely because I love it -- I love her characterizations (not only of the boys but of the council as well); I love the fact that she didn't take the easy way out in the story; I love how she had them at each other's throats, almost, before... well, if you haven't read it, I won't spoil it. Suffice it to say that I found it to be one of those eminently satisfying fics where you come away with a smile, knowing all is well with the world.[2]
Extraordinarily Resilient by Cori Lannam- one of the many AUs where Qui-Gon survives to see Obi-Wan knighted. It's time for the training bond to be broken- but it's not cooperating. I especially like the Obi-Wan characterization in this story.[3]
Another "ritual" fic, but one that interested me more than the usual. It's an AU; Obi-Wan is Knighted and he and Qui-Gon have to sever their training bond. Difficulties ensue. Qui-Gon has to face some things he's been hiding from. It's not exactly an "oblivious" fic but it has some elements of that type. Cori Lannam writes good TPM though, so give it a whirl.[4]
Obi-Wan is a knight now, but his training bond with Qui-Gon refuses to be broken. I find the idea of this story ridiculously awesome. :D[5]
