Anticipating one of those errands where you know you may be in for a long wait, I printed this story from the internet and stuck it in my purse. I'd read a couple of positive comments on KSC and wanted to see for myself.

All of the elements necessary for good K/S are here except the physical intimacy. The story line begins as the ship sails away from Janice Lester. We learn that something has been revealed in the meld Spock used to verify Kirk's identity, but we are left guessing as to its exact nature.

What is revealed, and very touchingly so, is the deep and abiding affection between the two men. Lots of insight is offered as to their individual feelings and reactions to the episode, and it all makes sense. It also leads inevitably to the fact that Kirk and Spock love each other unselfishly. All we need is the next installment!
