Event Horizon is a doujinshi by marciaillust focused on the romantic relationship between Ryunosuke Naruhodou and Kazuma Asogi from the The Great Ace Attorney duology, in a present day setting.
Summary
This doujinshi is a sweet feel-good story full of longing, about two people whose paths in life separated them, yet their love for one another persevered and brought them together once more.[1]
Production History
On November 4, 2021, Marcia posted a Google form on social media to gather research from doujinshi readers[2]. On November 6, the artist hinted that a doujinshi was in the works[3]. Progress updates were periodically posted throughout the time up to the announcement.
Marcia began a countdown to the release of Event Horizon on March 28, 2022[4]. Sales officially began on April 1, 2022[5]. Buyers could buy the doujinshi as a digital PDF for £19 or a hardcover copy with a digital PDF for £35[6]. Hardcover orders also included thank you cards featuring a print version of Marcia's earlier illustrations of the character pairing[7]. Physical orders ended on May 2, 2022[8].
On May 25, 2022, Marcia posted pictures of the zines arriving at her place of residence[9]. Shipping began in early June with the last shipment on approximately June 11, 2022[10].
