Erotica is a term defined in various ways by various people. A selection of definitions:
- A work meant to elicit sexual arousal, but which is more serious, plot-heavy, artsy, or literary than works labeled pornography.[1]
- Any written NSFW work, as a shorthand to distinguish from "pornography" used for NSFW images/film.
- "Sexually arousing material (film, book, pictures or otherwise) that are also of a loving, romantic nature" and not "degrading to women".[2]
