In the earlier days of the Attack on Titan fandom, Eren was most popularly shipped with Levi Ackerman, with the pairing name Ereri. Being the main protagonist of the series, today is Eren is shipped with a multitude of other characters, as can be seen below.

Eren Jaeger/Mikasa Ackerman (Eremika) - Having saved Mikasa from being trafficked at the age of ten, and living together for a year before the fall of Shiganshina, Eren and Mikasa share a strong bond throughout the story. Though some fans interpret their relationship as sibling love, many believe that the love they share is romantic, particularly from Mikasa's side. In the story, they have been mistaken as boyfriend/girlfriend by another character before. Mikasa is very protective over Eren, even joining the Survey Corps for the sole purpose of protecting Eren from danger. When Mikasa confesses the impact Eren had on her life when he felt defeated, moments before he and Mikasa faced death from a Titan, Mikasa’s words motivate him to not give up and continue fighting, all while declaring he would wrap her scarf around her “now and forever, as much as you want.” Eren also asks Mikasa why she cares for him, inquiring if it was because he saved her or she saw him as family, before finally asking “What am I to you?” When Eren questions Zeke about the Ackerman’s, wanting to know why Mikasa gives him kindness and affection, Zeke points out that she simply just likes him, and asks Eren how he plans to respond. Eren responds by saying that he only has four years left until he dies, and that he wants her, along with the rest of his friends, to live a long life after he is dead. Eren additionally shares a dream with Mikasa, moments before she ends his life, in which they both ran away together after she told him how she really felt when he asked her “What am I to you”, where they live out the remainder of his four years together. In the dream, Eren begs Mikasa to forget about him and throw out her scarf after he dies, telling her she “has a long life ahead of her.” At the end of the dream, the two share a kiss goodbye kiss as he dies (one occurring in the shared dream, and one occurring in reality after he died). Later in the story, it is confirmed that Eren also returns romantic feelings for Mikasa, lamenting to Armin during his and Armin’s shared paths dream that he does not want Mikasa to be with another man and to only think of him for ten years, before he embarrassingly asks Armin not to tell that to Mikasa, saying that he actually wants her to be happy.

Eren Jaeger/Armin Arlert (Eremin) - Being childhood friends with Armin just as he was with Mikasa, Eren and Armin share a strong bond as well, though their dynamic is quite different from Eren's relationship with Mikasa. While Mikasa is very protective over Eren and wholeheartedly devoted to being there for him, Eren plays that role when it comes to Armin. He has saved Armin from death and injury numerous times, and frequently expresses his sentiment for wanting to fulfill Armin's dream of seeing the sea with him.

Eren Jaeger/Annie Leonhart (EreAnnie) - This ship stems from the Stohess District arc and moments leading up to it. When Armin suggests that the true identity of the Female Titan was likely to be Annie, Eren gets very defensive and has a very difficult time believing that it could really be her. When the attack in Stohess District occurred, and Annie confirmed her identity as the Female Titan, Eren struggles to find the will to transform into his Titan form and fight her, because of his sentimentality towards her. From this, many have speculated that Eren has romantic feelings for Annie.

Eren Jaeger/Historia Reiss (EreHisu) - This ship initially arose when Historia's true identity and roots were revealed to the Survey Corps. After this was revealed, Eren told Historia that he preferred who she truly was to the good girl facade she put on for years during her time with the Survey Corps, which Historia was glad to hear. After the Reiss chapel incident and her coronation as Queen of Paradis Island, Eren repeatedly praises Historia for her strength and character. With the later event of Historia's pregnancy, some speculated that the father of her child could be Eren instead of the man who was introduced as the father, due to certain interpretations of scenes, which propelled the popularity of this ship further. When theories about Eren’s paternity turned out to not be true and just fanon speculation, however, fans of this pairing still continued to enjoy the ship and the dynamics they felt the pairing had.
