This is an original vignette in which Kirk has a past life memory dream just as he is about to take command of the Enterprise. His past life as a white man fighting for justice for Native Americans allows him to be rewarded greatly in his next life by a great love with a man from another race—Spock. I really like this concept. It's so karmically appropriate. [1]
