Elladan's Trials for Estel is a multi-chaptered LOTR fanfiction written by Ithil-valon. It is a little!Estel story, and therefore gen.
The first third of the story concentrates on the family life of the Peredhil (Elrond, Elladan and Elrohir) and how adopting Aragorn has changed their lives. While Aragorn, aged four, is slightly injured in an accident, there is much opportunity for hurt/comfort and fluff. During the remaining ten chapters, the story picks up speed as Aragorn is kidnapped and the Rivendell elves work hard to both find the boy and the kidnapper.
Ithil-valon has written two sequels: Healing Hope and Returning Hope.
