Dumbass Lawyers is a zine featuring sketches of characters from the Ace Attorney games, featuring the work of six artists.
About
A fanzine collaboration between 6 talented and amazing artists! This is a tribute to the Phoenix Wright games we all know and love.[1]
The zine was announced on June 27, 2014[2]. The book was made to be available at any of the participating artists' tables at Anime Expo 2014. Buyers also had the option to preorder on Storenvy and pick up their copy at Anime Expo. The storefront was later updated to allow buyers to preorder and have their zine shipped to their preferred addresses if they were not attending the convention.
The first proof of the zines was posted on July 3, 2014 leading up to Anime Expo[3]. Preorders made to not be picked up at the convention were shipped out approximately by August 5, 2014[4].
A later sequel to this zine, titled Dumbass Lawyers 2, was organized in 2016.
