This is an entertaining story though not for one moment, do I believe that Cowley wouldn't be aware that Bodie didn't have a driving license. On the other hand I can believe that he would order Doyle to give Bodie driving lessons forty-eight hours before he is due to take his test, which doesn't put Bodie in the best of tempers. His mood isn't helped when Doyle's car breaks down on a deserted airstrip.
But in spite of everything Bodie does pass his test. [1]
