DracoGinnyFanFic is a Draco/Ginny Yahoo! Group founded by StrangerWithMyFace in April 2001. It was the first Draco/Ginny-focused group and gave rise to the Magical Theory archive shortly after the group's creation.
StrangerWithMyFace was one of a relatively small number of Draco/Ginny fan writers on FanFiction.net. On April 30, 2001, she created DracoGinnyFanFic and invited other the other Draco/Ginny fan writers on FF.net. The group grew quickly, and an archive Magical Theory, was created a month later to house the stories posted to the group.[1] In December, the group started the 12 Days of Ficmas challenge.[2]
Notable Draco/Ginny fans that participated in the group include Sarea Okelani, Mynuet, and others.
Description
In fanfiction, anything is possible... Founded in April of 2001, the DracoGinnyFanFic list was the first yahoogroup dedicated to the popular, yet unlikely, pairing of Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter novels. Here, you can post stories, get/send feedback and discuss these characters and their relationship. So if you're a Draco/Ginny 'shipper or just want to see what all the hubub is about, this is the list for you! New members are always welcomed and appreciated. [3]
