Reactions and Reviews
1999
Here’s an opportunity to get hopping mad at one rather familiar and exceedingly horny Starship Captain. Spock’s gone for five weeks (not friend Spock, but lover Spock) and Kirk can’t keep it zipped up until he gets back? One whiff of perfume and he’s finished?
Yeah, I was sure disappointed. But you need to read the story yourself. OK, I see it’s not in the Library so I’ll not torture you.
This is clever. We the readers know Spock’s just arrived aboard ship and has for 35 days nurtured the vision of how he will return to the Enterprise unannounced, slip into bed with Kirk and gently love his mate to wakefulness. Couldn’t we all stand a wake up call like that?
But this temptress has gotten Kirk’s blood pressure (and other things) up, you see. And when Spock slips quietly into the cabin for this long-anticipated reunion, he hears unmistakable sounds coming from the darkness and his heart falls.
At this point I’m so disgusted with Kirk and the Author that I was ready to throw the zine out the nearest airlock. How could he be so cruel? Has he no feelings?
Ahhh, the hand that grips the cock is not the hand that rocks the cradle, but his own—in mid-fantasy about his Vulcan. Kirk tries to explain to Spock why he got so hot he couldn’t keep his vow of abstinence a minute longer. But Kirk hasn’t seen hot yet. Spock takes him aggressively and lovingly in one of THE hottest scenes...well, I hope the Enterprise bulkheads are fireproof! Woweee! [1]
