Different Drummer is a digest-sized 76-page gen anthology.
All of the stories are Quantum Leap crossovers by Linda Mooney and Sharon Wells.
The art is by Mariann Howarth.
It was nominated as Best Multimedia Zine, MediaWest*Con 1994.
From the Editorial
This zine wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Lucy [Green], my co-editor, best friend, manuscript cleaner-upper, confidant, and crying towel.
Thank yous also go to my contributors, Sharon Wells, and especially to Mariann Howarth, who came through in the pinch and saved my literary life. You’re a sweetie!
I also want to acknowledge The Quantum Leap Inn on the America Online computer network (10 p.m. EST every Saturday night!) and all my fellow “Leapers” on GEnie.
The Beauty and the Beast story entitled “The Road Not Taken" is not in this issue, and I sincerely regret its absence. I hope I have not offended or disappointed anyone, but its inclusion was prohibited by the fact that I simply ran out of room. Perhaps in the next zine....
