"Pre K/S. While on a planet survey, Spock is bitten by a snake like creature and Kirk uses a tried but not really true method to extract the venom."

Reactions and Reviews

Kirk and Spock on landing party duty; Kirk bored and snappish; Spock...well, Spock is Spock. Unfortunately, Spock gets bitten in his derriere and Kirk sees the only solution—suck the venom out. There’s just one catch—the snake’s poison isn’t venomous but because Kirk had told Spock to shut up, he couldn’t tell him, now, could he? When Kirk finds out, embarrassment all around. Kirk turns all shades of red, but Spock doesn’t change color at all.

Finally, Kirk laughs uproariously, his bad mood evaporating. Upon their return to the ship, Kirk orders Spock to go see McCoy and he’ll be present as well to see how Spock is going to explain that hickey on his butt. Do you also get the slight impression Kirk is trying to get his own back?
