Why MFU? What is it about the show that fuelled your creativity? I think, with MFU, it's a combination of things. It's one of the first TV shows, along with the original Star Trek, that really caught my imagination and made me want to be a part of it, to participate in its world. Before that, most of my worlds of the mind were literary. I think it has fuelled my creativity because it encompasses so much – it's set in a period of both great fear and great optimism, with lead characters with wonderful humanity and wit and the potential for great depth. The fact that they are both sexy as hell doesn't hurt either.
Do you feel as passionate about your creativity now as when you started? Why/why not? I would say not, but that is a factor of my own psyche, not the show. I'm something of a fannish butterfly, flitting from place to place, but MFU has always held a special spot in my heart. I am still writing for it, albeit at a much slower pace.
If you could do it over, what one story would you erase from the time continuum… and why? Got some old X-Files stories that should never, ever, EVER see the light of day again.
