Excerpts
How did you find yourself in MFU Fandom? I had all the novels and magazines, but the internet opened a whole world of zines and online stories for me. It was like giving a kid a key to the candy store and I haven't left it since. As a kid, a friend and I wrote stories with a heavy emphasis on Mary Jane’s and hurt/comfort... we thought they were stellar works! Not sure what happened to them but we had a great time writing them.
What are your half dozen favorite MFU fanfic stories that you would take to a desert island with you for the weekend, same for episodes? I would take the Working Stiffs series, The Foothills sagas (even though it's after they leave UNCLE) the group of Lois Baltzar's zines, and all of Kellie Matthews stories. I'll need a bigger suitcase. I'll bring also the Kuryakin Files... I better have an internet connection too! I'd take the whole collection with me; it's easy to transport!
The Reunion Movie, waste of celluloid or salvageable? I think it could be salvaged, if they finally made the two guys work together instead of apart... their bantering was missing, and it hurt the show. I think the initial premise of the story had some promise. Whoever did the writing didn't watch the show though. They would have fixed the problems!
