Another post-SR, dealing with Hutch's struggle to come to terms with his partner's probable return to the streets. This is powerful writing, with Hutch's inner turmoil brought to life very clearly, without in any way diminishing him. Kaye has a light touch, balancing angst with some light moments and vivid images. I really hope she will write the sequel promised at the end. [1]
