Deadpool is a superhero film based on the Marvel comic book character Wade Wilson.
In the sequel Deadpool 2, fan favourite characters Nathan Summers and Domino joined the cast. The second film also featured the first live-action appearance of Shatterstar.

However following the release of the first Deadpool film, many fans viewed this pairing as a crossover with The Amazing Spider-Man films, envisaging Andrew Garfield's character in the role of Peter Parker. While some fans have begun to ship Deadpool with the MCU's Spider-Man, others dislike that iteration of the pairing.
