From the zine:

I would like to thank eveiyone who has helped to make this project possible:

The members of the Forces Of The Empire role-playing club, without whom there would have been no story to get me started, and especially those who were kind enough to allow me to use their characters for background and interaction.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The main text of this story is set in Bodoni, withsecondary points of view in Arial. Some parts have also been set in other fonts as appropriate. Your comments on the technique of using alternate fonts are welcome.

The story presents the history of one character who is used as a persona in live-action role-playing. Some of the details in the background story may not agree with details given in stories by other writers. All scenes in the story which include interactions with other live-action role- playing personae have either been acted out in role-playing or checked and approved by the persons whose characters are used. Other characters used in dialogue and interaction are the invention of the writer.

A few scenes in the background story include extensive interaction with established Star Wars (TM) characters. These have been carefully crafted for believability the known actions of the characters in the Star Wars (TM) movies. Books which are not direct adaptations of the Star Wars (TM) movies have not been used as background for this story, except where persona characters based on these books are included in the storyline. Characters from other universes appear only where they are included in the role playing sections.

Part One of this story is based closely on the role-playing club Forces Of the Empire, and in fact chronicles events that took place within the club's timeline. Concepts which are unfamiliar to the reader are products of the club's storylines.

The remainder of the story, while based on and continuing from Part One, is purely the creation of the writer and should not be construed as having any official impact upon either the Forces of the Empire or the Star Wars universe in general.
