Curls Morgan was a Newsies fan and member of the Newsies Mailing List. Curls passed away on October 18, 1999. Her personal name was revealed with special permission by her twin brother, Aaron.

Thanks you for all of you who have offered to make reference to her on your web sites. She would really appreciate that. Perhaps if it is at all possible, you could maybe retire the name Curls? That would mean a lot to her. Also, give me any web sites that you would like to make a tribute to her for. I would like to see what was written about her.

Alias?

There may have been multiple Newsies fans who used the name Curls, who may be redirected here. The fanfic Joining the Ranks is by a Curls who used kell_anne as an email address. A Curls left guestbook comments using Eizzel1284.

Memories

Curls was someone I met through the newsies list. In fact, she dubbed me "Bubbles" and helped me with my characters. She always read my stories, and loved participating in everything newsie-related.

But more than that, I only knew her online. Yet, I still knew she was a great person. She was always there when I needed someone to listen to me cry about volleyball practice, school, or just anything. She was there when I was happy, she was there when I was sad. Whenever I signed on, she would be one of the first people to IM me with a big HEY!

She was someone who truly cared about everyone. Like I said, I only met her online... yet she cared enough about me to send me emails after my debate tournaments saying, "How'd you do? Let me know!" Curls will always be missed, and I will never forget her.
