NOTE: it is a sister zine to The Council Log, a much longer zine. It is VERY easy to get them confused.

There is a trivia article in the table of contents. It is also mentioned in the club news section as being by Rick Platt. But on the article, credit is given to Sheila Griffin.
The club's savings account in Veneta Citizen's Bank of Oregon will be closed out by the time this newsletter is published. Several reasons. One, the bank requires a $100 balance which we do not have. Also, since no one lives in that area anymore, it is difficult to withdraw money as we need it. All funds are now in Corvallis.
Shadows of the Mind" concludes in this issue (finally). We will try to avoid running stories this long in the future as it seems to make it hard to read. As you many notice, because of the length of this story and an other in this issue, we have reduced some of the material so as to put two pages of story on one page of newsletter. Unless anyone has objections, we will attempt to continue this process in order to print the longer type stories.
Hope everyone who was at the Christmas Party enjoyed themselves. For those of you who did not receive notice of the party, it may be because of the distances involved (you may have been too far away to have made it in any case). As often we do not receive any response from half the people to whom we send party notices, unless you want to be included on the mailing list for the next one and send us a card saying the same, you will not be notified.
