Con Farr, an obvious take-off on Pon Farr, happens in the weeks leading up to a convention, when a fan feels an almost physical need to buy zines and see fen. Invented by TDO, Con Farr may now be a thing of the past, since so many fans feel that their fannish needs are being met by access to online stories and online communities.
