There was another piece by Shelley of Kirk getting out of the pool that was... words fail me. Unfortunately, my pocketbook did too, or a deliciously wet Kirk would be in my closet hiding with all my other K/S art. [1]
1997
This artist knows how much I love her work. (I've certainly bought enough of it,) so I hope she'll forgive me, if I had a small problem with the back cover. This is a unique representation of Kirk emerging from a pool -- so immediate I could almost hear the water slap against the tiles, and the droplets running down his back and arms were expertly done, but this body appears to me to be decidedly feminine. There's just something about the narrow waist, the breast area, the protruding buttocks. I will say, however, the face is perfect. Pure, unadulterated Kirk. [2]
