College Boys and High School Girls is a modern AU Les Misérables fanfiction by defying3reason. In the story, Les Amis de l'ABC are college students involved in social justice issues. Eponine and Cosette are, as the title indicates, high school students. The fic includes some entertaining moments, shipping, real world events, angst, drama, and a heavy dose of political activism.

The primary pairing of the fic is Enjolras/Grantaire, with Courfeyrac/Jehan, Marius/Cosette, Montparnasse/Eponine, Courfeyrac/Eponine, Joly/Bousset, and Bahorel/Montparnasse all being important parts of the plot, and Marius/Eponine, Combeferre/Eponine, Bahorel/Feuilly, and Feuilly/Eponine all thus far being mentioned.

Trigger Warnings

When, in Chapter 30, defying3reason revealed that in the past Enjolras's mother had raped Combeferre, it prompted a number of calls for trigger warnings. At the beginning of the next chapter, defying3reason left some author's notes on trigger warnings (now removed) and why she had chosen not to use them. It prompted a slew of responses, ranging from supportive to upset to disgusted and to triggered.
