cluster is the term used in Sense8 to designate a group made up of eight people who were born on the same day and time, but in different locations around the world. These people are telepathically joined and this grouping comes after a second birth, that occurs when a sensate mother or father extends their mental link and touches their children through their psychic force. This touch leads your children to find their sensate mom or dad through an austral journey, which culminates in an intense headache before the new abilities are unleashed.
Sensate
In Sense8's universe there are two human species, the homo sapiens and the homo sensorium. Species of the sapiens type are called humans, while those of the sensorium type are called sensates.
Clusters
In the Sense8 universe, we are presented with two cluster groupings. The first is the group of eight protagonists of the show, later we see the enemy cluster. There are citations of other clusters, but little is known about them beyond the few or no mentions.
