Cleverman is a supernatural-drama TV show based on Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime lore. The mythic figure of the Cleverman is somewhat reimagined in the show into a modern superhero-esque setting.
Overview
Sometime in the near future, humans discovered that there was another species living among us. Dubbed 'Hairypeople', they were promptly locked up in the Zone and isolated from a humanity that fears and hates them.
Meanwhile, Waruu West believes he is next in line to receive the title of Cleverman (a spiritual leader with a connection to the Dreaming), but when it goes to his half-brother Koen, things take a dark turn.
