Christophe Giacometti, primarily called Chris is a supporting character in the anime Yuri on Ice.
Canon
At 25, he's one of the older skaters still competing. Chris is a contemporary of Victor Nikiforov, and the two have participated in international events together for several years. However, their rivalry seems to be friendly, as they are shown spending time together socially off the ice and seem to be on good terms. He's shown as being self-confident and sensual, with a deep love of skating.
He is shown to have a white cat living at his home in Switzerland.
Common Pairings
Chris is shipped with a wide range of characters, including Phichit Chulanont. Sometimes, he is portrayed as Victor's ex, and occasionally in an OT3 with both Victor and Yuuri (partly supported by the anime in a scene where Chris and Victor both jump into bed with Yuuri after swimming). Some fans see his openness about sex as indicating a level of promiscuity or polyamory.
There are also many fics exploring his ongoing friendship with Victor, as he is the skater who has competed against him the longest.
