The fandom is a small spin-off of CWRPF. Christian Kane has appeared in works in that fandom since the beginning. Chris/Steve, which focuses on the relationship between Christian Kane and his musical partner Steve Carlson became a common secondary pairing in CWRPF and J2 stories, and interest grew to the point that the pairing became a fandom of its own.
