Reactions and Reviews

Pretty interesting little story about a Vulcan woman stranded and captured by apish people intent on torturing her to exorcise ghosts from their village, and her rescue by a dragon-riding fellow from another group of people. He heals her, they fight off the villagers, she heals him, and they finally communicate by mind-meld and fall in love. But she has to go home and see if she is allowed to return because of prime directive considerations. [1]

'Child of Earth' by Vicki Kirlin is about a Vulcan female space traveller marooned on prehistoric Earth and her growing friendship with a native male. Both characters are appealing in their own way. [2]
