Chidi Anagonye is one of the main characters in the NBC television series The Good Place.
Canon
During his lifetime, Chidi was a professor of philosophy at St. Johns University in Australia. In the afterlife, he is settled into the good place with his soulmate, Eleanor Shellstrop - a woman who knows she doesn't belong in the good place.
Despite being a fictional character, Chidi Anagonye has a 4.4 rating on Rate My Professors.[1]
