Charles Xavier/Logan, also known as Xavierine, is the slash pairing of Charles Xavier and Logan in X-Men fandom, this is a rarepair in the fandom.
History
The pairing gained importance with the release of the movie X-Men: Days of Future Past. It is due to Charles being younger, the absence of the characters usually paired with Logan (Jean, Rogue), but mostly because they share intense scenes. Logan shows trust and gentleness to Charles, and is the one getting him on the road to recovery.
It also contrasts a lot with the atmosphere between Erik and Charles (the characters of the most popular ship Cherik) in the same movie, making Xavierine a somewhat more tender ship, less tragic and even healthier to some fans.
The movie Logan added a family dynamic to the pairing, with the fandom loving the character of Laura.
