Celeborn is a character from The Lord of the Rings. He was the lord of Lothlorien and had a strong distrust of dwarves. He is often a minor background character in fanfic, but appears more commonly since the Rings of Power series, where he has a more notable role.
He is by far most commonly paired with his canonical wife, Galadriel; most other pairings have only a single-digit number of fics at AO3, often fewer than 5. Celeborn/Haldir stands out as a ship with a few dozen fics.
