Category talk:Celebrities & Real People
As I understand this category, all characters, pairings, and RPF fandom overview pages should get either this category (Celebrities & Real People) or one of the generic subcategories (e.g. Music RPF) or possibly both. Except I don't think that's happening--for example, a lot of people in Category:Pundit RPF are currently missing from any category. Currently, Template:FandombyText-RPF includes this category, so supposedly every RPF fandom (character pages, pairing pages, XYZ fandom RPF pages) should appear in this category, in addition to any relevant subcategories. And if we don't want that, I need to change the template so it's not inconsistent. I think it's okay if RPF categories need to follow different rules from other categories as long as we can figure out what the RPF category rules actually are.... Like, should all RPF fanwork pages without their own RPF fandom category (e.g. Lotrips) be in one of these categories? I just removed a few pages, following the Fandoms by Canon Type category scope, but maybe we do need a place to put random RPF stuff that doesn't have another home.--æþel 01:51, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
