Change to Rick Riordan
I'd like to propose that we change this to Category:Rick Riordan. This category is named after two series, which is unorthodox, in attempt to sort characters that appear in a shared canon together. Since all of Rick Riordan's mythology series are actually in a shared universe that include Kane Chronicles and Magnus Chase in addition to PJO and HoO, with canon crossovers between all of the series, it makes more sense to change it. – caes (talk) 18:05, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
- i'd say that rather than changing it to "rick riordan" it should be changed to Camp Half-Blood Chronicles, which is the actual name of the franchise. yes, it's a shared universe but it's a shared universe in the scope of something like star trek so renaming the category to just "rick riordan" feels like it could get messy when there's definitely things that are unique to each section of the fandom.
- like, i don't disagree that we could probably use Category:Rick Riordan, but i don't think getting rid of this classification in favor of only a wider one is the solution when this could be renamed to the actual franchise name and therefore things like the musical and the movies could be lumped in with stuff about the books because they don't necessarily anything to do with rick riordan. he also has an entire publishing imprint now, which i feel like would also fall under a "rick riordan" category? plus things like The 39 Clues and his adult novels, which just seems confusing if you're only looking for something related to percy jackson.
