Canon
In Son of Sea Foam, the two are canon until Castor is killed by Zeus by pushing Percy out of the way of a lightning bolt meant for him. Castor gives Percy his red sweatshirt; Percy gifts him the Aphrodite bracelet that Silena gave him.
In the unfinished second book Descendants of Olympus, they do not get together but the author has stated that they were planned to be endgame.
you should hopefully get lots of details from the upcoming outlines but tldr version is Castercy, Percy gets his memory back in Tartarus, a quick fight, some back and forth, a scene that came from the survey drawing, they both get out alive, drama regarding their mortality, a solution that I hadn’t entirely committed to because the drama was like… whoa (but maybe in a good way?) and then eventually a happily ever after for them.
