From the author's notes:
I finally purchased a computer to aid in writing and it has been a godsend. Cascades I was written in long hand and then out on a computer after hours at my job. At least now when I decide to write at 1:00 in the morning, I can throw on the computer and at least read what I had written the next day. The only problem is my cat, Timi. She doesn't like the idea of getting up that early and not getting fed.
