Carlos Alvarez is a supportive character in The Losers (both movie and comics). He is the sniper.
Canon
Sergeant Alvarez, callsign Cougar, has long, dark hair and a goatee on his chin. He almost always wears a cowboy hat. Although he rarely speaks throughout the film ("Never touch the hat!") he is still expressive.
In the comic, he dies holding the nuke that destroys New Jerusalem.
Fandom
The most popular Cougar ship is Cougar/Jensen. Probably because of his nickname, there are stories with were-creatures.
