Space Pirate Captain Harlock (宙海賊キャプテンハーロック Uchū Kaizoku Kyaputen Hārokku) is a 1977 manga series created by Leiji Matsumoto and adapted into a popular 1978 anime.

The series spawned numerous prequels, sequels, and remakes, many of which do not follow the same continuity. Among them is the 1982 prequel film Arcadia of My Youth and its sequel anime series Endless Orbit SSX.
