By Your Command is a Battlestar Galactica (1978) archive for stories from the BSGSlash mailing list from the mid-1990s to the 2000s. The archive had about 215 works by about 30 authors, including a few works co-authored by multiple writers who also had their own works on the archive. Most of the stories involved the slash pairing Apollo/Starbuck.
The archive for the mailing list was hosted here (Wayback link to fortunecity version), until the owner was not able to maintain it, then Anna (Starry Diadem) started the static version BYC2 to preserve it.
History
In September 2022, it was announced that By Your Command would be moving to the Archive of Our Own as an Open Doors Project.[1] The import was completed in November 2022.[2]
