Summaries

Another summary from the publisher: "10 years in the making! This AU Jack/Daniel novel explores what might have happened if Daniel did not ascend at the end of Meridian."

From a Flyer

Our story is set in an alternate universe from SG-1 canon. It takes place beginning in the 4th and 5th season of the series and diverges completely at the moment of Daniel’s ascension in Meridian. It poses the question: If Daniel had chosen not to ascend but to stay and allow Jacob to heal him, what might have been different? We started writing this story shortly after Meridian aired and before the 6lh season of the show began. Therefore, for the purposes of this novel, nothing that happened in 6th season onwards necessarily occurred in our universe.

But, of course, this particular story isn’t really about Jonas and what happened on Kelowna, although the Kelownan incident is the precipitating factor and the jumping-off point for our story. The story is about Daniel Jackson, Jack O’Neill, Sam Carter and Teal’c and their journey to bring their team back together. It’s about Jack and Daniel and their friendship and romance as it unravels and breaks ... and then? Read the story to find out. Along the way, they find hope, new allies and a new path to fight the Goa’uld.
