Britta Matthews was a slash fan who was an active participant in the Starsky & Hutch communities. She was a frequent attendee at both US and UK slash conventions, and even volunteered at several, including Friscon and Bascon and hosted numerous panels on topics as diverse as Beta reading and whether Star Trek: Voyager would survive after being canceled. She passed on November 2, 2011.
