"Bring Back Black" is a term used for fics in which Sirius Black was either brought back from the dead or never died in the first place. The term was popular on Livejournal and other HP fic archives. on AO3, the term "Sirius Black Lives" is more popular than "Bring Back Black".
A subcategory of this trope (or perhaps a separate trope?) would be Beyond the Veil (trope) fics, which deal with Sirius in the afterlife.
