Bright Lights, Black Leather is a slash Miami Vice 153-page novel by TM Alexander/Robyn LaSalle. The cover and interior art is by KOZ.
The plot concerns a serial killer targeting gay men. While Rico is away in New York visiting Valerie, Sonny and Castillo have to go undercover as gay porn moguls to infiltrate a porn studio with ties to the murders. Castillo's undercover wardrobe lives up to the zine title.
From a July 1993 ad in GAZ describing this zine as it was in the planning stage: "When the OCB suspects the illegal casting of minors by a Porn-world director, Crockett goes undercover in the industry and finds himself not behind the scenes, but in front of the camera."
